Jed Graham: Retail Sales Dive 16.4% Amid Coronavirus Lockdown
Retail sales plunged 16.4% in April as the coronavirus lockdown continued across most of the U.S., the Commerce Department reported on Friday. That's nearly double March's revised 8.3% skid, which had been the biggest monthly plunge in data going back nearly 30 years. The worst category: Clothing store sales crashed, falling 78.8% on the month
